The German industrial metal band syringer was formed in 1998 by Lawrence Molnar (Vocals & Guitar) and Alex Sokolovski (Guitar) under the name “Sea of Silence”. After the recording of a first demo CD, a base player and a drummer joined the duo, to form a complete live band. The band played a couple of local shows in this formation. After several band name changes, they finally set their name to syringer in 2005. The band was put on hiatus in 2007. In 2011 the two founding members reactivated syringer and began recording new material and released an album in 2013. The music of syringer can be categorized as modern metal with tuned-down guitars and clean vocals. The songs are accompanied by keyboards, beats and samples.
